1 bag lentils
1 stalk chopped celery
1 chopped onion
3 cloves garlic chopped
3 bay leaves
ham bone
some small chunks of ham
carrots
salt and pepper to taste

Put it all in a pot with some water and cook, I generally cook it overnight, monitor it occassionally to check for water content, the soup should be fairly thick. Enjoy!

ooh! soup! I like soup.
We usually make it out of a can though.

I will give it a try, I would love to make some fresh soup.
Maybe tomorrow because then I am free of school because they have to repair the heater.

I try to stay away from cooking, because i cant cook for anything. But the recipe seems to be easy enough, maybe i should give it a try.

I'll give you a hint...make sure you follow the directions on the lentils...I didn't my first time Nothing like crunchy soup!
